WHO WE ARE
Changing what's possible
The Maker's Clubhouse exists to change what's possible for the kids we serve. We provide comprehensive STEAM (science, technology, engineering, agriculture, and math) focused educational programming and social and emotional learning to enrich the minds and hearts of school-aged youth. Program offerings include after-school, school day, summer programming, and community events. TMC is the flagship program of the educational initiatives of Bible Center's faith based community and economic development arm, The Oasis Project.
Science. Technology. Engineering. Agriculture. Math.
STEAM
From robotics to urban agriculture, our STEAM programming connects kids to hands-on learning and real partners, including Kamin Science Center, Manchester Craftsmen's Guild, and our sister program Oasis Farm.
SEL
We build social-emotional learning into every part of the day, and go deeper through programs like SELMA, where kids explore confidence and emotional expression through music.
Academic Support
Our after-school program provides homework help and academic support all year long, tackling summer slide so kids come back to school ahead instead of behind.
CURRICULA – THE WHY
What we teach and how
Field Trips
Rock climbing. Horseback riding. Kennywood. The Frick. Our field trips take kids beyond the classroom and into new experiences that build confidence and curiosity.
Transportation
Transportation shouldn't stand between a child and a great program. We provide transportation to and from all programs, so every family can say yes.
PROGRAM SESSIONS
Ways to participate

Afterschool
The Maker's Clubhouse after-school program serves 150 students weekly at Faison and Lincoln Elementary Schools.
Kids take part in STEAM lessons, hands-on maker challenges, robotics, homework help and tutoring, and athledemics -- our approach to blending sports with academics.
Summer Camp
The Maker's Clubhouse Summer Camp keeps kids' bodies and brains active all summer long. Over 7 weeks, campers dive into hands-on STEAM challenges, character development lessons, cooking, nutrition and urban gardening, and plenty of physical activity.
